Kasway is a non-custodial Point of Sale (POS) system built on the Kaspa blockchain. It allows users to accept crypto payments directly to their wallet with no middlemen, smart contracts, or complicated setups.
Is Kasway free to use?
Yes, Kasway is free to use. We charge as small as 0.25KAS (flat) fee per transaction to help keep the lights on — it's automatically deducted before the payment reaches your wallet.
Is my data stored?
No. Kasway doesn't collect or store personal data. Only minimal, temporary metadata is logged to support transaction recovery in rare network failure cases — and it's automatically deleted once resolved.
Do I need to install anything?
No installation is required. Kasway runs in-browser. You only need a compatible wallet that support Testnet 10 to get started.
Does Kasway support Kaspa mainnet?
Yes, Kasway fully supports the Kaspa mainnet
Is Kasway open source?
The core platform is currently in private development. However, we plan to open source parts of the system once the codebase is stable and documented.
Can I integrate Kasway into my project?
Integration APIs are not yet public, but feel free to contact us or open a discussion on GitHub for early access or collaboration opportunities.
How does Kasway handle micro-payments?
Micropayments in Kaspa (and many other Proof-of-Work networks) are often considered spam or "dust attacks." To address this, we've implemented a mechanism to prevent such transactions from being rejected at the consensus level. The price of your product should NOT be smaller than 0.25 TKAS. It is currently discouraged due to potential network limitations.
Is this legal?
The legality of crypto payments depends on your local laws and regulations. Kasway can be used globally, but it's your responsibility to ensure that your use complies with the laws in your country.
Are stablecoins supported?
Due to current network limitations, stablecoin support is not yet available. However, we plan to integrate stablecoins in the future.
Will Kasway be using smart contracts any time soon?
Yes, eventually. Smart contracts will primarily be used to support stablecoin functionality and related features. However, since the Kaspa network does not currently support smart contracts, this functionality will be introduced once such capabilities become available on the network.
Who's behind Kasway?
Kasway is developed by Atomik Labs, a small independent startup led by a solo developer focused on building usable, real-world blockchain applications.
